Olivia Cooke's reaction to taking over for Emily Carey on ''House of the Dragon''

According to CNN Emily Carey, star of "House of the Dragon," is reacting to actress Olivia Cooke taking over as the series moves forward.

Cooke and Emma D'Arcy will now take on the roles of Queen Alicent Hightower and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, respectively. After five episodes, Carey and actress Milly Alcock left the show.

Carey praised Cooke before the new episode aired on HBO, saying, "Tune in to House of the Dragon tonight to FINALLY witness what @livkatecooke & @emmaziadarcy do what they do best."

She also posted a selfie of herself as Alicent with an earlier version of Cooke.

Paddy, a cast member of Considine added his voice to the chorus, stating on social media, "Enter the home!"

Considine had also addressed his final goodbyes to Carey and Alcock, saying of their final episode, "Last ep before the time leap for two icons." It was an absolute joy dealing with you two. "Off you go!"

Carey answered with an emoji of a sorrowful face. "We must saunter away. It's been a pleasure, Pads!" she wrote.

"House of the Dragon" airs on HBO, which, like CNN, is owned by Warner Bros.
